ESL Classes Denver is excited to announce the start of a weekly Citizenship Class to help students prepare to take the United States Citizenship Test. Classes are held in-person every week and are conducted in English. Students may enroll and join the class at any time. Each week will be focused on one of 20 basic civic lesson for the Naturalization Test.

As with the rest of ESL Classes Denver's courses, all classes and materials are free of charge.

Please note that before you can apply for naturalization, certain eligibility requirements must be met. These include, (but are not limited to):

• Be at least 18 years of age at the time you file the application;
• Have been a lawful permanent resident for the past three or five years (depending on which naturalization category you are applying under);
• Have continuous residence and physical presence in the United States;
• Be able to read, write, and speak basic English;

If you do not yet meet any of the first three eligibility requirements, but would still like attend the class, you are more than welcome to join us!
